PORCUS TOTALLY ACCURATE BEN AND JERRYS CHOCOLATE FUDGE BROWNIE ICE CREAM
before i write i say anything just know i havent actually tried making this. this possible hell of a recreation is that of pure speculation and slight annouance at Ben and Jerry for litterally just giving me a cold brownie inside a cup with some chocolate ice cream. i mean. ITS GOOD. but like. at this point just give me the brownie dunkass. also i should note this recipie im noting doesnt use fudge brownies, thats mostly because the only brownies ive made from scratch were those nice cadberry ones. yummy.
THE RECIPIE
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
THE ACTUAL COOKING
since alot of this is basically just how to prepare store bought brownie mix and put in a cup, i should mention you could pretty much do this with probably any brownie recipie, so if you have a better brownie recipie, either homemade or just from a different brownie mix you like more or can buy easier, then feel free to just scroll down to where i start rambeling about how to actually prepare the cup.
So then as the box states, first thing you will want to do is grab a jug, and mix together your Oil, Water and Egg. Then tip your brownie mix inside of a mixing bowl and pour in your Egg Oil Water combination into the bowl, onto the brownie mix. then using a hand held electric whisk, mix for about 1 minute or so until well combines. Then Pour into the prepared tray and level with a spoon, bake for 20 - 22 minutes until crisp on the top but with a moist, chocolatey centre. Remove from oven and allow to cool in the tray before cutting into squares. Though it will probably be better to cut the one(s) you'll put in the cup into a circleish shape if possible, about as big as the cup you'll place it in.
THIS IS THE PART WHERE WE DO THE ICE CREAM AND CONTAINER STUFF
now this is where we get to the fun bit. Get out your ice cream, i recommend chocolate but you can pretty much use any flavor if you think it will go well with the brownie. Now you'll need a container, this can be pretty much any sort of cup, either an actual ben and jerrys container or just a glass i guess? as long as you have a sutable lid for it pretty much. Then, place a pretty small scoop at the bottom of the cup, enough to fill about hereish
once you've done that, place down the brownie, and then let your second scoop fill up the rest of the container, then either flaten the top or just kinda crush it down by placing your secure lid onto the glass and making sure its on tight. Now you have done that, place your cup inside the freezer you usually keep your ice creams in and let it sit for about 30 to 60 minutes. Maybe go eat those other brownies you've made since their good and everyone likes brownies.
and now thats its nice and cold and frozen, tada!! your eating a probably accurate ben and jerrys that may or may not have worked!! take off the lid, get a spoon, and enjoy your cold brownie in a cup. Just as Ben and Jerry would have wanted. And hey if it sucks, atleast you have a bunch of other brownies you made!! Its always fun to experiment.
